The third creation by Gaël Petermann and Florian Bédat features
a completely redesigned calibre developed from scratch.
With its distinctive visual language, the 1825 offers a refined interpretation of a time only piece.
The Case
​Inspired by the design of the previous reference 2941 reworked
for a three hand watch.

It has been refined to offer balance and comfort. Crafted in rose gold, this case embodies the identity of Petermann Bédat and will carry forward across future creations.
The Dial
Closed for the first time in contrast with the semi open designs
of earlier models.
Executed in translucent enamel with a laser textured base it combines the depth and vibrance of grand feu with the structure of a sector dial.
The choice to close the dial reflects a desire to move towards a more classic aesthetic while maintaining continuity with the Maison’s codes.
Depth is preserved through the translucency of the enamel ensuring that the play of light remains integral to the design
The Movement
Created as a so-called simple calibre without additional complications. The challenge was not complexity but form to design components that feel both new and rooted in tradition.
Inspired by pocket watches once restored in their workshop Petermann and Bédat reinterpreted classic elements to create a movement with its own language.
The initial symmetry converges on the bell-shaped central steel bridge, before unfolding into rupture, echoing the House’s identity. Oversized ruby bearings, swan neck regulator and hand finished details remain as signatures while for the first time all wheels are crafted in solid gold.
This calibre becomes the base of the Maison.
